Jean-Pascal Zadi, born in 1980 in France, is a director, actor, producer, and rapper. He began his career as a director with documentaries about music Des halls aux bancs, and music videios for French rappers, but owes his renown mostly to his latest work, Simply Black / Tout simplement noir. John Wax

John Wax is a French artist and filmmaker. He began his career in the cinema as a set photographer, for Les Kairas (2012) by Franck Gastambide and Coexister (2017) by Fabrice Eboué. In 2020, Jean-Pascal Zadi offered him the opportunity to co-direct the film Tout Simplement Noir (Simply Black), John Wax’s first film as a director.
