Originally from Zimbabwe, Rick Cosnett is an actor and director with a few projects in development. He is very interested in exploring and deconstructing race. The Letter Carrier is his directing debut, co directed with Jesse L. Martin. Cosnett obtained his BFA from QUT and went on to appear in film, TV and theatre in Australia before moving to the US and landing lead roles in the hit series The Flash, Quantico, The Vampire Diaries and CastleThe Wrong Husband, Tu Me Manques, Skybound and Happily Never After. Jesse L. Martin
The 2016 short film, The Letter Carrier marks Jesse L. Martin’s directing debut. A prominent stage, television and film actor, he is most beloved for his work originating the roll of Tom Collins in Rent on and off Broadway, Ed Green on Law and Order and most recently as Joe west on The Flash. In addition to co-directing, Jesse wrote the script and lyrics for The Letter Carrier, taking inspiration from a childhood story told within his own family.
