In Keur Massar, Senegal, following annual flooding, residents and community organizers show the effects on their lives and homes of poor infrastructure and the increasing impact of climate change. This short film shows how the residents live with and through the flooding, and explores the causes of and possible solutions to this crisis.

Centre Yennenga

Centre Yennenga is mobilizing to make cinema accessible to all and to promote film creation in Africa. Founded by the acclaimed Senegalese-French director, Alain Gomis, the center offers cultural activities, film screenings, discussions, exhibitions, and workshops, as well as a post-production studio and equipment rental. It is a space open to all, a place for exchanges and meetings between local residents, movie lovers and film professionals. The center partners with local associations, national and international festivals, as well as film libraries, to make African and world film heritage accessible to as many people as possible.
