About the Director

Ulysse Dikoumé Alechinsky

Ulysse's creativity is driven by his curiosity about the world we live in. His passion for extreme sports moves him to film and show what he loves. In 2005, he enrolled in film school at Les Arts Filmiques, in Nantes, France and specialized in video editing. During his studies, he took pleasure in shooting, directing and editing, through which he discovered a new way of communicating. At the end of 2007, after an internship at Tele Nantes, he began freelancing in order to dedicate more time to his projects and to work in different areas of the audiovisual sector. A big fan of model making, in 2010, with the help of a friend, he set up a concept to offer different kinds of aerial photography, from the zeppelin airship, through the radio-controlled aircraft and the first drones. Though the endeavor did not last, it allowed him to regain a certain independence that is still present in his work today. Learn More
