Olive is a dramatic relationship film that explores betrayal, heartbreak, and chance encounters. The film was inspired by the song O Mistress Mine written by William Shakespeare and performed by Caleb Eberhardt of the hip hop/jazz duo Quincy Vidal. The film serves as a silhouette into the everyday day romance. It's goal was to give a minuscule glimpse into the mundane day to day occurrences of a relationship that often lead to moments of complete chaos and utter lack of trust. The title Olive is a metaphor for the situation that these four people find themselves in.

Alfonso Johnson

Alfonso Johnson is an actor and director, who was born and raised in Queens, NY. Alfonso has been performing since the age of 12, where he got his start at the world famous Apollo Theater. Alfonso has trained at the prestigious William Esper Studio and is an alum of the Labyrinth Theater Company’s Master Class. In 2012, Alfonso took on one of his most challenging tasks, becoming a filmmaker. He wrote and directed A Saturday Is A Terrible Thing To Waste, which he also starred in opposite of late great comedian Charlie Murphy. Since then he has made films such as Tough, starring Tony Nominated actor John Earl Jelks and Olive, featuring MaameYaa Boafo and appeared in the films Anonymous, Amok and Trapped Inside Out.
