About the Director

Kayode Kasum

Kayode Kasum is a director and cinematographer whose film projects include a two part documentary series for the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) which was aired across Nigeria. He has also created and directed music videos, TV series and has shot campaigns for brands such as DHL, Manchester United, Belvedere, ARM Pensions, Zero616 Realty, ART X Lagos, Union Bank Nigeria, African Cable Television (ACTV), and Clover Industries Tanzania. In 2017, he released Nigeria’s first live-action animated movie titled Dognapped in cinemas across the country. His films have been screened and have won awards in various festivals around the world. His 2018 project Oga Bolaji acquired theatrical distribution in North America and in the Nordic countries. Kayode has been appointed as director of MNET’S new telenovela series Unbroken. Learn More
