1999, Novato, California. Eight-year-old girl Jessie is enjoying what little time she has left to spend with her best friend, Lucas. The trailer park they live in will soon be closed due to MTBE water contamination, and the whole community will be forced to evacuate. For Jessie, this means learning to say goodbye to all that tethers her to her little pink trailer.

Kyung Sok Kim

Kyung Sok Kim is a Korean writer-director based in Los Angeles. After graduating from Hanyang Univerisity in Seoul with a BA degree in Film and Theater, he moved to Los Angeles and earned his MFA degree in Directing from the prestigious American Film Institute (AFI), where he attended as the only Korean fellow of his year. His films have won and screened in numerous film festivals including several Oscar-qualifying ones. Kyung's 2020 film, Furthest From, won the Prize of the Children’s Jury at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen (FIAPF Accredited), the Jury prize in the Student Category at the USA Film Festival, and the Silver Remi Award in the Graduate Student Category at the Worldfest-Houston.
