Candice is an award-winning Nigerian-British screenwriter and filmmaker. Her shorts have won awards and screened at international festivals around the world, including the BFI London Film Festival, Aesthetica Film Festival, Roving Eye International Film Festival, Atlanta Film Festival, Martha's Vineyard Film Festival, AFRIFF, and the Brazilian African Film Festival. Her work has been mentioned and reviewed on platforms including Afropunk, Yahoo Entertainment, and Letterboxd. Her award-winning BFI Network supported film, Born Again, is listed on MUBI's database. Her films are distributed and available on the BFI Player, the UK-focused platform, and many others. Last year, Candice directed 2nd unit across 6 episodes of the Steve Knight-penned BBC series SAS: Rogue Heroes. She has recently been commissioned by Erebus Productions to develop a period-thriller feature film. She is also currently developing her debut feature, Another I. Candice is the founder of Genesis Child Films, a production company with a focus on powerful stories driven by women of African descent.
