Bidaya is a song about hope, this song was written right before the start of the revolution in khartoum, where most people in the city was desperate and helpless but yet people had so much hope in themselves and their land, people had this hidden energy that was buried for years to finally change the situation up completely and live a better life as a nation. Bidaya Music video is a project created by the Elgizouli sisters,(Sally,Mai and Hiba) three sisters from Omdurman, Sudan. The video explores various themes through different shots, each representing a specific subject, such as pride in Sudan’s diversity, the natural beauty of Sudanese women reflected in their hair and diverse skin tones, as well as the strength and creativity of women. The video highlights freedom of expression and the rejection of restrictions on creativity, blending modern and traditional styles while drawing inspiration from Sudanese heritage. It provides space for their imagination to unfold in a contemporary vision through their eyes."
