Wairimu Kiambuthi
Dr. Wairimu Kiambuthi is an academic and film director and a native of Kenya. Kiambuthi was formerly a lecturer in Theatre Arts and Film Technology at Kenyatta University in Kenya and a media consultant at Columbia University in New York. Her first film, the documentary Africans and African-Americans in the United States (2006) was inspired by the need to create a visual medium developing beneficial partnerships through promoting understanding between Africans living in the United States.
