Co-presented by MoCADA, the 2022 season of the KIDflix Film Fest! returns from August 12 – September 9, 2022! This year's festival is inspired by the theme Sankofa: Back to the Future!

Sankofa is a word in the Twi language of Ghana meaning “to retrieve” (as such is the Adinkra symbol represented by a stylized heart shape or a bird with its head turned backward and its feet face forward carrying an egg in its mouth), to seek and take, to go back and get that which you have forgotten, that which must be returned. This year we uplift the power of Sankofa to celebrate our collective past to propel us into our future.

Bring a chair or blanket, and join us for movies and ice cream by Creme & Cocoa Creamery. Films start at sunset!

About our Summer Series
