Filmmaker Abbesi Akhamie screened the films, Still Water Runs Deep, which she directed and Samedi Cinema, which she produced, to students at A. Philip Randolph High School in Harlem. The screenings were followed by an in-depth discussion between the filmmaker and students who were very moved by the films.
