Scroll down to view photos and a video from our 13th Annual Family Day Celebration below! Join the Trust for Governors Island and AFF for the 13th edition of our annual Family Day Celebration! Fun-seeking individuals of all ages are invited to join us for an enchanting day of free activities including storytelling, needle arts, double-dutch, and dance and drum workshops led by world-renowned instructors, all celebrating Africa and the diaspora! Please Note: We will be implementing social distancing measures by asking you to maintain 6 feet distance between you and those who you are not attending the event with. Masks are required to board the Governors Island Ferry and to enter and move around the event area. Tickets for the Governors Island Ferry must be reserved in advance here.
