Yace Sula is a Gambian-American, nonbinary filmmaker and screenwriter. They began screenwriting at the age of twelve and made their first student film at fifteen. Now an adult, they are focused on making films that depict the complexities of people typically relegated to confining tropes. Ele of The Dark is their debut short film.
