Tapiwa Kapuya is a writer and has written scripts for the ZIFFT Short Film project. She co-wrote the films Kuzvipira, and Bloodstones which won a NAMA award. Tapiwa created the concept of and co-directed Dudu Manhenga’s music video Ewuwe. In My Father's Village is the first short film she has co-directed.
