Shawn Antoine II is an award-winning filmmaker based in Harlem, NY. He attended Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx, the same high school as Martin Scorsese. In 2013, during his senior season at Cardinal Hayes he won the varsity football championship after his school's 32-year championship drought. He earned a full athletic scholarship to attend the University of Rhode Island. During his time at the University of Rhode Island he majored in public relations. His love for filmmaking came about after he created his first short-documentary, The Movement. Since then he has taken on the mantra to “inform and inspire” through his films. He has directed and produced several films. His short film, Showtime (2019), was selected for 47 film festivals and he was named the Best New Director by the Hip Hop Film Festival.
