Max Fouchee is a non-binary photographer and filmmaker based in Cape Town, South Africa. They have directed three short films, one of which they wrote themselves. They have also been the DOP in another three short films. Max worked as the Directors Assistant for Quizzical Pictures in 2023 for an MNET series called White Lies, as well as a Production Assistant for a Ninety One Investing commercial with Knocking Door films in 2022. The filmmaking space is where Max feels they can create worlds that are interactive and impactful while using themes of realism and humour.
