Mahmood Ali-Balogun

Biography

Mahmood Ali-Balogun is an actor, producer and director. He has established himself in the fields of TV commercial and documentary production, mostly in home video and stage production. Ali-Balogun was born in 1959. In the 80’s, he studied Dramatic Arts with specialization in film and television production at the University of Life, now the Obafemi Awolowo University. He is a member of the Independent Television Producers Association of Nigeria (ITPAN), was Vice President of the Association Black Theatre Network (BTN), USA, and was the founder and former President of the National Association of Nigeria Theatre Arts Practitioners (NANTAP).
