Lande Yoosuf is a writer, director and producer with over 12 years of production development and casting experience, and has worked with several networks, including MTV, NBC, WEtv, truTV and Bravo and others. Her short film, Privilege Unhinged, screened at the Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival, Big Apple Film Festival, the DC Black Film Festival and is currently airing on Shorts TV. Yoosuf also wrapped her festival run for her second film Second Generation Wedding, which screened at the Bronze Lens Film Festival, and is now developing the film for feature length adaptation under One Scribe Media. Lande directed Antu Yacob’s dramatic short film Love in Submission, which was accepted into a distribution program affiliated with the Luminal Theatre, Full Spectrum Features, The NW Film Forum and Collective Circle entitled the “Emerging Black Filmmaker Collection”. As Co-founder and Partnerships Director of Black Film Space, Lande works to contribute to increased control, ownership and media management for content creators of African descent across all cinematic formats and content platforms. Lande is a graduate from Brooklyn College with a Bachelors of Arts in Television and Radio. In her spare time, she loves to sing, read, travel and spend time with her loved ones. She reps her Nigerian background proudly and holds down her hometown, the world-famous republic of Brooklyn, New York.
