Mali

Ladji Diakité was born in Bamako, Mali and holds a master’s degree in literature from the Ecole Normale Supérieure. He also studied at the National Centre for Film Production. Diakité’s films include La Rencontre des chasseurs (2001), Duel à Dafa (2007) and Fantan Fanga (Power Of The Poor - 2009), co-directed with Adama Drabo. He is Chief Production Division of the CNCM (National Center of Cinematography of Mali).
