A native of Saint-Bruno-de-Kamouraska, Julie Bernier graduated with a bachelor’s degree in arts from Université du Québec. Through performance, video and installation, she tries to raise social issues by infiltrating places where people are on the move and stimulating exchanges and human contacts. Her work inspires her to write texts of documentary and poetic nature. Julie's work has shown in Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, Quebec City, Montreal, the Magdalen Islands and Chicago.
