Jean-Pascal Zadi, born in 1980 in France, is a director, actor, producer, and rapper. He began his career as a director with documentaries about music Des halls aux bancs, and music videios for French rappers, but owes his renown mostly to his latest work, Simply Black / Tout simplement noir. The film, which he wrote, co-directed and starred in, lead him to winning the Most Promising Actor Award at the 2021 Césars.
