Diego de Jesus was born in Bahia and moved to Vitória in 2009. He has a degree in Cinema from the Federal University of Espírito Santo. He produces audiovisual works for both cinema and television, which narratively dialogue with the aesthetics of new media, such as social networks and video sites.
He directed the short films Pela Janela (2014), Invisível (2015), Impeachment (2016), which won awards at the São Paulo International Short Film Festival in Brazil and were shown at festivals across the country. O Último Rock premiered at Mostra de Cinema de Tiradentes, Brazil, and received the Best movie award by Canal Brasil and Best Performance at the Festival de Cinema de Vitória, Brazil. He is currently in post-production on his first feature film Adeus, verão!
