Director/producer Dave LaMattina graduated from Boston College with a degree in Communications; there he received a grant from the Jacques Salmanowitz Program for Moral Courage in Documentary Film to direct and produce a documentary about child AIDS activist Nkosi Johnson. He then earned his MFA from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinema-Television, and headed back east to put his skills into practice. He has experience directing all over the world on a variety of different shoots and projects. He also spent time writing for commercial clients and working in development with Hollywood studios. He co-founded Copper Pot Pictures in 2007 with Chad N. Walker and Clay Frost. The three set out to establish a company that could produce meaningful documentaries and other content.
