Born in 1972, anthropologist and actress Daniele Ellery co-directed The Other Side of the Atlantic and Identities in Transit. She has acted in the short films Quitéria (2016), Joaquim Bralhador (2014) and Torpedo (2009). She is the scriptwriter and co-director of and actress in Longing for Andreia; actress in We are Going to Beirute, by Marcus Moura, and The Esophagus of Mesopotamia, by Isaque Chueque.
