Chad / France

Born in Beirut (Lebanon) with roots in Chad, Askia Traoré, grew up at la Duchère, outside the city of Lyon (France). After working as a cinema operator for a few years, he moved to Paris to work in movie production. He worked on documentaries, and also made his own during his studies, which was been broadcast on local television. In 2010, he directed his first short-film, Nola. After shooting his first short film, he decided to stop production to devote himself more fully to his projects. Nulle Part is his second film. Biography Source
