Niger

Amina Abdoulaye Mamani is an actress and director. In June 2012, she finished her studies at IFTIC (Niamey, Niger) and completed an internship at Télé Sahel, in the production department. She also worked at Maman Bakabé's inter-media agency. Her graduation documentary Hawan Idi - La consécration, won the first prize for best film school documentary at FESPACO in 2013. Her 2018 documentary, In the Footsteps of Mamani Abdoulaye follows her ten year quest to reconstruct the past of her father Abdoulaye Mamani, and reclaim his place in Niger’s history.
