Rhys Aaron Lewis is a writer-director from London. He began his career as a documentary filmmaker, making a series of short docs with BFI Doc Society, the BBC
and the Guardian, before venturing into the world of narrative fiction. He has a particular interest in comedy and quirky stories which shine a light on marginalised
communities. His most recent short, Run Like We, a (semi-autobiographical) coming-of-age tale about an awkward boy growing up in a sporty Jamaican household
during the London Olympics, was funded by Prime Video UK and has screened at several BAFTA and Oscar qualifying festivals around the world.
