Akin Okunrinboye is a Nigerian born filmmaker based in Houston, Texas. An avid lover of African cinema and self taught cinematographer, Akin has worked on film and TV projects such as But Mamah, Mugged, Five, The A, and Mr. Gele: The Man, The Story, The Craft, just to name a few. In 2013, he produced and directed the viral hit sensation, The Promise, which earned him a cash prize from the popularly known Afrinolly Short Film competition held in Lagos, Nigeria.
