Sudan

Eltahir Daoud is a graduate of The Fine Arts College of Khartoum. He is currently an elementary school teacher in Kosti. He joined The White Nile Cultural Healing Workshop, a concept developed by British-Sudanese filmmaker Taghreed Elsanhouri, a creative peace-building project in Sudan that trained journalism students, civil society representatives and young people to make short documentary films which expressed their cultures and traditions, in 2012. Here, he began work to direct his first film, Only a Child, together with other participants.
