Uno (Sophie David), a sexually inexperienced young woman, gets involved with a womanizer, Kaura (Muhindua Kaura), which leads to an unplanned pregnancy. When Kaura refuses to take responsibility for their child, and starts avoiding Uno, she leaves the baby in the care of her mother and goes to dangerous lengths to track Kaura down.

About the Director

Bridget Pickering

Bridget Pickering is a is an accomplished producer and director from Namibia, educated at Syracuse University in television and political science. She is the daughter of Namibian diplomat and trade unionist, Advocate Arthur Pickering. She has worked on many films as a producer and director, ranging from developmental documentaries, such as The Road to Safe Motherhood, and television drama series, such as Stories of Tenderness and Power. She co-produced 2004’s blockbuster Hotel Rwanda and Ingrid Sinclair's 1996 war drama, Flame. Her short film, Uno's World, was included in an a collection of short films by African women titled, Mama Africa (2002).
