Noem My Skollie / Call Me Thief, marks Daryne Joshua's debut as a feature film director. received the RapidLion Awards for Best Screenplay and Best South African Film, 2017.At an early age he wrote, illustrated and sold his own comics on the streets of Bridgetown. During his scholarship at AFDA, the local film school, he collected several awards and completed the degree with distinction. Now he is directing Television dramas and successful short films as either writer or director or both. Daryne Joshua also set up a Film and TV production company in Cape Town called Gambit Films.
