About the Directors

Fanny Liatard

After studying at Sciences Po, Fanny Liatard lived in Beirut, then in Marseille where she worked on artistic projects related to urban change. She first trained in video on animated cinema projects, then on fiction. She then joined La Ruche, a scriptwriting residency for Gindou Cinéma. In 2015, Fanny Liatard wrote and directed with Jeremy Trouilh two short fiction films, Gagarine and La République des Enchanteurs. They are currently working in pairs on other projects - documentaries and fictions - and are developing their first feature film together. Learn More

Jérémy Trouilh

Following a degree in Political sciences and a few years in Colombia, Jérémy Trouilh did a Master degree on "Creative Documentaries". Afterwards, he worked on a documentary with an indigenous community in Colombia called Derrière la ligne noire. In 2015, they directed Gagarine together, which received many prizes in festivals. Their short film La République des enchanteurs got the Canal + Award at the Clermont-Ferrand International Film festival in 2017. Learn More
