Andrea Verena Strasser holds a master's degree in Experimental Visual Design from the University of Arts and Design Linz. Since 2007, she has been working at Crossing Europe Film Festival. Her documentary, Accra Power, co-directed with Sandra Krampelhuber, was screened there in 2016, as well as in FESPACO in Burkina Faso, and at AFRIFF in Lagos. Accra Power is her directorial debut.
